Cylindrical roller bearings

This type of bearing incorporates cylindrical rollers inside. Their unique construction gives a low coefficient of friction and allows for applications at high speeds.

Cylindrical roller bearings are characterized by a high radial load capacity, because the rollers and tracks are in linear contact. These brearings are suitable for applications involving high radial loads. The presence of a separable inner or outer ring allows this type of bearing to be easily mounted and disassembled.

Features of cylindrical roller bearings:

  • high stiffness
  • low coefficient of friction
  • suitable for high speed applications
  • ideal for high radial loads and moderate axial loads
  • axial displacement capability
  • long service life
  • simple assembly: the inner and outer rings can be mounted separately

Cylindrical roller bearings are generally lubricated with oil, which also acts as a coolant.

Series: N, NJ, NU and NUP (in single row versions); NN and NNU (in double row versions)

Types of cages: brass (M6, MA6, MPA); polyamide (TVP3)

Most commonly used cylindrical roller bearings:

  • single row cylindrical roller bearings
  • single row full complement cylindrical roller bearings
  • double row full complement cylindrical roller bearings
